Overview

The SMILE Community Action Agency AmeriCorps Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a vibrant initiative designed to harness the skills, experience, and wisdom of seniors aged 55 and older. This program provides retirees with meaningful volunteer opportunities to make a significant impact in their communities, promoting lifelong learning, engagement, and fulfillment.

Our Mission

Our mission is to empower senior volunteers to use their lifetime of skills and experiences to meet critical community needs, enhance the capacity of local organizations, and improve the quality of life for individuals and families.

Who Can Join?

RSVP is open to anyone aged 55 and older who is interested in giving back to their community. Whether you have a few hours a week or a few days a month, there is a place for you in our program.

Volunteer Opportunities

RSVP offers a diverse range of volunteer opportunities that cater to the interests and abilities of our senior volunteers. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Mentoring and Tutoring: Help students succeed academically and socially by providing guidance and support.
