The Accounting Department — which also includes an Accounting Manager, Accounting Payroll Benefits Manager,  and Accounting Clerk — overseeing an Annual budget of $8.6 million.

The department is responsible for all fiscal matters of the Agency.

GOALS/OBJECTIVES

  • To provide internal control for the handling of all monies;
  • To provide accountability of all receipts and disbursements on each individual grant;
  • To provide accounting data to meet the reporting requirements of each grantor;
  • To provide financial data to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of Directors for planning and controlling the operations of the Agency;
  • To provide data for supervisors in order that they may carry out the objectives of the grant; and
  • To provide financial statements together with the supporting books and records to financial examiners, both public and private.

The Accounting Department also ensures that all grants’ fiscal requirements are met.
